About UTF Madison

The History of UTF Madison

The Madison Chapter of the Universal Taekwon-Do Federation was founded by Mr. Ray Luongo (2nd Degree) in January 2000 at the Mendota Community Learning Center. Since then, the UTF Madison has expanded through Madison School Community Recreation to Lindbergh, Glendale, Hawthorne and Huegel Elementary Schools, and independently to East Madison, Kennedy Heights and Vera Court Community Centers, retaining Mendota as the main school. UTF Madison currently has over 200 students citywide.

UTF Madison's Objectives

The UTF Madison is a diverse organization that prides itself in bringing quality martial arts to students of all ages regardless of their background. All students are encouraged to excel inside and outside of the dojang in order to become outstanding citizens and well-rounded human beings.
